About the Exhibit
This exhibit features traditional and tradition-based work by Native Americans from the Lower Sioux Indian Community. Exhibitors are: Mat Pendleton (porcupine quill work featuring medicine wheels, earrings, and bracelets), Jenna Pendleton (bead work featuring lanyards, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets), Devon Larson (bead work), a Mille Lacs artist (birch bark work), Yolanda Pendelton (star quilts), Joyce Pendleton and students from Lower Sioux (pottery). Various artists will have on display traditional horse regalia. Also, Pioneer Public Television recently released a Postcards episode focused on artwork from the Lower Sioux.
